Danielle & Andy | The Mythe Barn | Sheepy Magna | Staffordshire

The Mythe Barn at Sheepy Magna has to be one of the most beautiful barn conversions I have ever seen. It's an absolutely stunning place, and a purpose built wedding venue in the Midlands. Set in the Warwickshire countryside surrounded by rolling fields and rivers with an abundance of wildlife, it feels miles from anywhere. I had seen the venue and met with Danielle & Andy before the big day to do a pre wedding shoot. It was a scorching hot beautiful summers day and one which reminded me how lucky I am to do what I do!! The Wedding Day itself was perfect all round, but weatherwise, nice and dry and thankfully much cooler than the 30 degree heat we had for the preshoot.

Danielle & Andy were awesome to work with, both very enthusiastic and understanding of my unrelenting passion to try and shoot anything unusual, different, and I imagine often quite awkward feeling for them!... but as I tell many of my couples, the posing positions and body placement I suggest can feel quite un-natural at first, but it's often those that feel most un-natural that look the most natural and eye-catching... usually, giving them a quick sneeky peek on the back of the camera every now and again, is enough to convince and put them at ease!

I'm really very pleased with the results achieved, (mainly due to very attractive and willing subjects!). I've collated a number of my favourite images from the day below, and hope you enjoy looking through them as much as I enjoyed shooting them. Congratulations Danielle & Andy! I look forward to seeing you at the studio for your album collection. :)
