Dispite fairly inclement weather conditions, I am extremely pleased with the results from Julie & Nathan's wedding at the beautiful Caverswall Castle, Staffordshire.
Caverswall Castle is a 13th Century jewel of a venue, with a fairytale setting and one of only a few surviving moated castles in the UK. With 'oudles' of scope for beautiful pictures, Julie & Nathan were prepared to go to town on the portraits an boy was it worth thier while! The light was good for most of the day, not too dull but quite diffused, but once we were out there were lucky spells of sunshine which we really made the most of.
I have really tried here to be quite creative with the harsh directional light, playing around with backlight, shadows, lens flare and the beautiful autumn colours within the great surroundings of the castle.
I must mention brave Julie who's dress got fairly drenched by the end of the picture taking fun, but I hope she feels it was all worth it seeing the end results! I think it was!
