Anna & Thomas' Wedding at The West Mill, Exclusive Use Wedding Venue, Darley Abbey, Derby

I had the great pleasure of capturing Anna & Thomas' Wedding, my first at Derby's newest and exclusive use wedding venue... The West Mill at Darley Abbey. A magnificent Grade 1 listed building building on the banks of the River Derwent, which 'oozes', (pardon the pun!)... with industrial charm and features. A dream of a place to shoot for any photographer, The Westmill is a very 'on trend' venue with an amazing interior, it's a real 'venue with a difference' and boy was i excited to shoot there! 

Anna & Thomas were very relaxed about my approach and wanted me to concentrate on capturing the ambience and the 'feel' of the West Mill and it's features. Thomas himself, very much prefering the candid / reportage / documentary approach due to him being very nervous in-front of the camera... which in a few shots really adds to the feel of those images... well done Thomas! :) 

I'm very much looking forward to working at The Westmill again soon... especially as it's just minutes from my own front door! Congratulations again to Anna & Thomas!
